What is a CSA Program?
A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a way for locals in the community to access freshly harvested produce that is high in nutrients and grown without pesticides, herbicides, or synthetic fertilizers. This allows members to be in touch with their food supply so that they can feel secure in knowing how, where, and when their food was grown.
Pilgrim Terrace’s CSA program is one of the only nonprofit farm share programs in the country, committed to providing fresh, nutrient-dense produce while supporting our neighbors most in need.
At Pilgrim Terrace Cooperative Homes, our CSA program goes beyond just fresh produce. Members enjoy:
- Fresh Locally Grown Farm Shares
- Nutritious Full Course Lunches
- Local Honey and Microgreens
- Starter Seedlings
- Pottery and Art Classes
By joining our CSA program, your membership directly supports not only your health but also the nutritional needs to low-income seniors, individuals with disabilities, and the larger community. Together, we’re cultivating a sustainable future while nourishing both our body and spirit.

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Is there a required buying quota I need to fulfill like most CSAs?
No! Most CSA memberships require you to pick-up produce on a recurring basis, but with our CSA, we have no buying quota, so you don’t have to pick up a bag for the month if you are busy or traveling.
How can I pay for this yearly membership?
Forms of payment we accept are by cash, check, credit/debit card, and PayPal. You must fill out our Membership Application below to give us your basic information.
What will you be using to document my card information?
We will be utilizing Clover, which is a point-of-sale system that will be able to save your basic information needed to sign up as a CSA member. We will input what you would like to purchase, swipe your card, and it will deduct the amount of purchase.
